Typical tropical climate, predominantly dry, with average temperatures of 80° F (27° C).

GEOGRAPHY

37 square miles, located at the crossroads of the Greater and Lesser Antilles, approximately 144 miles southeast of Puerto Rico. To the east is the Atlantic Ocean and to the west is the Caribbean.

CURRENCY

The official currency of Dutch St. Maarten is the Netherlands Antilles Florin (NAF), however most retail locations also accept U.S. Dollars. French St. Martin’s official currency is the Euro (€).
